IMD Domains and Indicators

The ID 2000 recognised that there are different aspects to deprivation, and the indicators are multi-dimensional. They have been constructed with a composite index of multiple deprivation (IMD); six domains covering different aspects of deprivation; a child poverty index (this is not part of the index of multiple deprivation, as children are already counted in the income domain).
