How will the Observatory add value ?

It is the collaborative approach of the Observatory together with its co-ordinating unit that makes it different. The Observatory will make it easier for professionals to access the data they need to inform their work. It will work to promote and/or validate robust methodologies and will work
towards common agreed standards in data collection. Partners will work together to actively promote and disseminate the work curently undertaken. The central unit will ensure that all these activities are co-ordinated, in line with the needs of users and easily accessible.
