5. Future development of the project

5.1 Future areas for development

The teenage pregnancy agenda has provided local coordinators
and the South West Public Health Observatory
with a challenge and an opportunity to improve the coordination
of data between different agencies on a local
and national level. It is hoped that through sharing this
work with local, regional and national individuals and
agencies the toolkit will encourage further development in
this area. The Trent Public Health Observatory is currently
undertaking further work about teenage pregnancy which
focuses on the long term trend analysis. This work will be
shared with local co-ordinators if requested. It is anticipated
that other Public Health Observatories throughout England
may also undertake work in this area which local agencies
may find useful. As new data become available further
bulletins will be issued and data made available on the
South West Public Health Observatory website:
www.swpho.org.uk.

5.2 Further information and support

The South West Public Health Observatory is keen to
support you in the use of the toolkit. If you would like to
obtain further advice please contact the Observatory either
by telephone (),
email or
or via the
website (www.swpho.org.uk).

5.3 Feedback

The South West Public Health Observatory plans to evaluate
how useful the toolkit and general report have been, how
they have been used and how they could be improved. A
full evaluation will be undertaken in a yearís time and the
results will be widely disseminated.
