Adobe

	Portable Document Format files enable large files to be transmitted relatively quickly.
	You will require Adobe Acrobat software to read pdf documents.
	Contact your IT provider if you are not permitted to download executable files.
	Please note that some pdf files may still take some time to download.

Winzip

Zip files are "archives" used for distributing and storing files. Zip files contain one or more files. Usually the files "archived" in a Zip are compressed to save space. Zip files make it easy to group files and make transporting and copying these files faster.

Microsoft converters and viewers

With the help of converters and viewers from Microsoft® Office Update, you can share your Microsoft Office files with people who have different versions of Office applications, or even with people who don't have Office at all.

The Public Health Observatory is part of the South West Observatory, a wider Regional intelligence function, currently supported by the South West Regional Assembly, the Department of Health, the Department for Education and Employment, Government Office South West, the South West of England Regional Development Agency and the Environment Agency.
